This is a must-see in the Rochester area. Very clean, well-kept, just the right selection of exhibits, not too busy. I would suggest leaving 2 hours for a quick walk-through, 3-4 hours for a more thorough visit with time to eat, read, etc. The small...More

As far as zoos go, Seneca-Park is average at best. They have all your basic animals including a great elephant exhibit (my personal favorite). However their membership, more than makes up for it. Not only does it provide access into the zoo for your family,...More

The zoo is great especially with the new Out of Africa addition put on a couple of years ago. Zoo Brew is fun (minus the lines at all of the beer stands) and a different thing to do over the summer. There are quite a...More

This is a wonderful zoo for all ages. Been going since I was little, and still get a thrill seeing all the different animals and watching the expressions on children.

I love the Seneca park zoo. We'll be buying a membership for the season for the first time this year. It's a great place to go and for such a small zoo packs a lot of punch. There are lots of little restaurants and attractions...More

It was a good place to visit upon leaving Rochester, heading back home. Good to hit for a few hours, not an all-day kind of place. The monkeys were especially fun to watch :)

I still prefer the Philadelphia zoo but this is a very good zoo. The animal exhibits allow for close viewing and there are children's activity centers scattered throughout the park. It's nice to have playground areas to allow children to play off extra energy.

This zoo has changed sooo much since I was younger. It has been probably 6 yrs since I have been there, but they're always updating the animals homes and the park. I always enjoyed watching the otters at the otter house and the elephants.

There are several indoor areas of the Zoo to explore! The Main Building, which houses the Aviary and primates in addition to a variety of amphibians and South American species, is the first one as you make your way through... More

Depends on the time of year. This time, it is $12 for an adult, and was $9 for my daughter who is 5. They have a website where they list the pricing and the dates. It's open year round.

Hi, it depends on interest (and weather), eg longer stay at seal / polar bear underground observatory on a hot day or Safari bus observation deck on a cool day. Half day is a good length, even if you don't see everything... More
