Geva has always been a great place to watch a show. I highly recommend going to both stages. Great seats (very intimate and close to the stage), acoustics are great. Had season tickets many, many years ago and are thinking of doing it again. You always can count a Geva to have great entertainment! Our community should be very proud.

Not that Geva hasn't always been a great place to catch a show, the recent renovations make it absolutely beautiful.

Productions have always been very high quality, with talented casting and well crafted sets. They have newly renovated - The new seating inside the main theatre is very comfortable:we have sat in many different spots and have always had 'good seats'. They offer full bar service and the Kitchen has a reasonably priced light menu, where the atmosphere feels more... More

Over the years we've been watching plays here, the place is very nice. Nice acoustics, cozy and great view of the stage. If you live in Rochester, I recommend buying the season pass, if you are visiting and there is a play going on at Geva Theater, and worth going.

Great place to see a live play! Upscale theater, comfortable seats, great view of the stage where ever you sit. Two theaters in one. Wine bar before the show and at intermission. Downtime, ample paid parking

We are from out of town, but have attended two performances here. Spring of 2016 saw To Kill a Mockingbird. Especially poignant as it was day after Harper Lee's death. Then last night saw A Christmas Carol. Absolutely wonderful productions both! Christmas Carol had us both laughing and crying! Acting, costumes, sets, everything here is top notch! We had online... Probably depends on what's playing at the time, but the plays are always well-performed, well-staged and the building is a fun place to watch live theatre.

We saw "Mother and Me" a one-woman show performed by Melinda Buckley at Geva Theatre, 75 Woodbury Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, (585) 232-4382, The show started at 7:00 PM and ran to 9:30 PM, and I liked the early start, allowing time for a drink afterwards. The show tackles a tough topic, but it was handled with skill, eliciting both... More

I recently attended a college event at the newly renovated GEVA theater, the new decor is beautiful. The buffet meal was scrumptious and the play was hilarious with class.
