We dropped by briefly late morning so our 7 year old daughter can feed the goats and koi fish in the pond. We visited during the season when it's not fruit or pumpkin picking time, so the activities on the farm was pretty limited. You can basically drive up to their market, make your purchases inside or have lunch. There are signs directing you to the hiking trails, the goats and the koi pond. You don't have have to check in with any one on the farm. You just park your car and then walk around on your own. There isn't a welcoming party at the door directing you to go to certain places on the farm. I suspect once it is high season, there would be more staff on hand to direct traffic and answer any questions.

The farm itself is worth the visit whether you pick and buy or just enjoy the property. If you don't want to pick for yourself the amazing NATURAL crops are available at the farm store where the food at the cafe is comforting not to mention delicious and you will find friendly people to share your time with and a great selection of grocery items. Afterward you can go feed the goats who are loveable or head down the road to the nursery to browse plants or check out the little koi pond. So much fun for families and after years of spending time here we consider them ours.

We revisited Greig Farm in July 2020 after at least 15 years from the last time we were up this way. They had much more imported (either local or national "pseudo-farm" brands) in the store up front and very little home grown items. If this is owned by the same family-as claimed- was not the same bunch of nice people I remember. Overall, OK BUT it had a very downstate NY feel to it. It used to have a true Upstate NY feel to it. Next time I will do a little more research and find a more authentic farm somewhere close by.

Fun trip to the farm with my daughter's class. We were running free though the orchard and rows upon rows of corn when it started to rain. We all took cover under the Apple teees and while enjoying an apple snack. The ugly apples were as nature intended as were the students. Lovely day indeed.
