It was a first experience at the Children's Museum on a Friday morning, with my grandson who is just a little over one year old and walking. He had been given a membership by a wonderful friend for a holiday gift. The parking is easy as was the negotiating the entrance, admission, the hanging of our coats. One bright room... More

It's really not that impressive if your kids are pre-teen n older, so stick to visiting here if you have youngsters. The planetarium is pretty cool, but once again only for lil guys say 2-7. I believe older kids won't like this place as much. It was really hard to rate this one. I guess I could've given it a... More

We visited the children's museum with our 20 month old son. We went on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't busy. There are 2 floors of different types of exhibits for kids to explore. The ground floor lets kids discover a firehouse and small fire truck, a kitchen; an activity area where my son was able to make a small... More

We had a great time at the museum. There are great exhibits for children of all ages. My son loved playing with the trains and track downstairs. Wonderful way to keep are toddler entertained. We are definitely getting a membership which pays its way after 3 visits.

We stopped in with our Grandson for his birthday. The museum is small but is packed with wonder. Their is a mastodon skeleton, different things such as a kitchen, fire truck, large foam tinker toy building blocks, a wall to make mazes that balls roll down, air tubes that blow scarfs and much more. Definitely worth the time and money.... More

My son's class went a few times during the school year. The staff were really good with the children. They taught the children a bunch of new and fun things. The whole class always seemed to enjoy themselves.

I was pleasantly surprised by the children's museum. It is a great place to bring your child for a rainy or winters day. There are plenty of things for them to do hear. They run special programs for arts and crafts. You can join at a discounted yearly rate or just go for the day. I was delighted to see... More

This museum isn't just for kids, its fun and interactive for adults too. Well worth the time, trust me, you'll be there for several hours and completely amused. All sort of fun activities from a bakery & fireman pit to dinosaurs and a giant light bright. This place is awesome!!

Great spot to bring younger children. Lots of hands on activities. Accessible to Walkway Over the Hudson. Nice walk along the river just outside. Good/easy parking. Check their website for any special activities that may be going on. A must visit for people with Nursery/Kindergarten/Early elementary age children.
