Located on the Vassar College campus, the museum permanent collection has some real treats, Picasso, Rembrandt, well, I can't list them all. Also a good representation of the Hudson River School.

We were driving through Hudson Valley. Stopped at this art museum. It was worth it. History and art. Wonderful presentation of pieces from around the world and through the ages.

Very fine exhibit of modern art and there is always a special exhibit as well. Easy place to spend an rainy or hot afternoon. Visit for a short as 1/2 hour to 2 hours.

The works of art were fantastic. Picasso to ancient Chinese artifacts. Well thought out displays impressive amount of rare pieces. Only issue I had, there were 6 of us an elderly couple, my wife and myself, and my 13 year old and 8 year old....More

Quiet, clean with impressive permanent collection and fascinating war art exhibit - posters, coins, medals, etc. All this set on a breathtaking campus that made me long for college days.
