Breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed a hike from Penn Yan to the falls - Seneca Falls. With the fall foliage, it truly was a magical experience!

We rode our bike along the Keuka Outlet Trail and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the well maintained trail. The first water fall is about 3 miles from the Penn Yan starting point and the second is about 1.1 miles from there. The two waterfalls...More

This was a fun, short (we hiked about 2.6 miles, but could have gone further.) hike. Beautifully maintained trails beside a wonderful burbling river. Two gorgeous waterfalls to see.

Very easy hike, all flat, no elevations. From Penn Yan the trail travels through the town for the first few miles, then it gets more quiet. The path is quite busy with hikers, bikers and joggers. Don’t expect any wildlife except for a groundhog or...More

Glad I was on a bike because the bugs were ferocious! But then again I have never considered bugs for lunch a gourmet treat in the Finger Lakes! The choice seemed to be feed them or eat them. It is pretty, it is an easy...More

we only hiked part of the trail, but enjoyed the walk with a turtle pond, an old mill, waterfalls, and remnants of a lock.

Loved the trail. Easy parking at clearly marked signs starting on the keuka side. Cool things to see all along trail. Trail is a little rough, but i used a road bike with tread and was fine. Hybrid would be better.

This trail goes from town through some beautiful areas with waterfalls and picnic areas. The trail is easy walking and perfect in most weather. I discover something new each time. We walked from the sports park to the second waterfall and back - 8+ miles...More

The trail is along a nice creek. The water is crystal clear and pretty. The trail was somewhat unkempt and in the beginning of the trail the houses along the way were really not that well kept up. It may be prettier when the trees...More

Parts of the trail are paved but much is dirt or gravel. I'd stick with mountain bike or hybrid.

You can fish along the Outlet Trail with a valid NYS Fishing Lucense. It's not used for boats. If you want to fish from a boat, you can do so on either one of the lakes connected by the Outlet Trail (Keuka and Seneca).
