We are so happy to have this State Park nearby - two separate acreages...First, the bottom (on Rte 28, north of I-88, exit 17) is where the Riddell farmstead was - plenty of trails to bird-watch, cross country ski and the Schenevus Creek is stocked!...More

This is a great place to go hiking with your dogs. They have a trail map, parking, and there are picnic tables nearby where you park. The majority of the actual trail-area of the park is very isolated and wild, which is great for the...More

What a nice place to walk the woods along the water. There are many spots you can picnic and fish. The trails are marked and everything was clean when we went. Pick a trail and get hiking

We took a long hike here after two storms went through the area. Much of the trail was soaked, but it was still very nice. Only saw a few creatures. The raging river was amazing.

This park is a nice place for a walk. It loops around so one can go for a long walk or a shorter distance. The trail meanders near the creek, the farm fields and a portion in the woods. I take our grandchildren here to...More

Being only a few miles from this park, my family and I frequent this location to just get away and enjoy some local nature. Our favorite hiking spaces are the high peaks and Catskills, but they take time and planning to visit. For a spur...More

We've been coming here for a couple years now. However to be honest we only live at the end of the road, so convenience is a big plus. The reason why we choose to come here is that it's a compact park while still remaining...More

The North side of the park rambles through trees and pastures, sometimes along a small creek. The trails are well maintained and easy to follow, less than two miles to wander the loop.
