What a wonderful way to end our cruise. We visited this working ranch and were greeted by a Gaucho, empanadas and drinks, followed by a meal that had too many courses to list and Argentine wine. Next up, was a display of their traditional dances and dancing with the guests. Ice cream, dessert and mate concluded the meal. Unfortunately it... More

My brother and I enjoyed our day here. We went on excursion bus from RCI. They did everything they said they would. Beautiful and relaxing setting. interesting dances and gaucho riding, tasty food, plenty to eat and drink. Also could take short cart ride and/or go horseback riding. We saw hummingbirds in the wild and rhea in enclosed area. Well... More

Our return flight back to the States was after 10 pm so we decided to spend $130 pp for the shore excursion. I noticed that there were at least 10 bus loads of passengers that opted for Celebrity Cruise Line's "Best Of Buenos Aires and Estancia" tour. The Star Princess disembarked that same morning. If you met people during the... More

Gauchos and dancers in traditional costumes greeted us at the gates with wine and water plus empanadas and dancing. The owner, which has had the Mimosa in his family for generations, watches over the entire operation for our entire stay. We took a buckboard ride around a large circle area (kind of silly) and a similar area for a horseback... More

We enjoyed Estancia Mimosa while waiting for our flight home from Argentina. This was a cruise ship tour and there were five tour buses full of cruise ship tourists. That said, it never felt crowded at Estancia Mimosa. We were met by the ranch owner and his family who had baskets of warm empanadas. There were horses to ride and... More

We visited La Mimosa as a disembark day excursion from our cruise that ended in Buenos Aires. For $90USD per person we had a 3 hour Buenos Aires city tour and then drove about 1 hour and 20 minutes for our visit at La Mimosa. The tour included transporting our luggage and dropping us at the International airport at the... More
