We had a lovely day driving through the park. We were too late in the year to see all the flowers but the scenery was lovely.. A beautiful lagoon with a deserted sandy beach & the rugged Atlantic coast. We saw quite a few ostriches.

See some wild life while driving through the park. Visit Geelbek restaurant for a lovely meal in the old Cape Dutch Home. Take a walk to the bird hide at hi tide and enjoy an amazing bird watch where you can see pelikans, flamingos, albatros...More

Stopped in on our way back to Cape Town during the week in the wintertime. It was quiet. We saw about 5 other cars during the three hours we were there. Saw plenty of wildlife including two birds of prey fighting. Went for a walk...More

The crown jewel in the park is the Langebaan Lagoon which if you are into bird watching is a amazing place to spend several hours in one of the hides.

The jewel of this National Park is Langebaan Lagoon which lies tranquil and beautiful with stunning turquoise water surrounded by low hills. Most activity is around the lagoon. There are houseboats to hire and many people come to picnic or braai along the sandy shores....More

We have been visiting the park since around 2003 and it has never disappointed. The natural fynbos which carpets much of the park was showing some affect given the drought in the area both still there was some colour, if I had to liken it...More

We visit the West Coast national park on a regular basis for the past twenty one years. On the last visit of the year (31/12/2017) we again had a lovely day visiting all the bird hides in the park and just driving thru the park....More

Such an interesting diverse area with the deep blue lagoon and the white dunes this is an must when in the Langebaan vicinity. There is a choice of self catering accomadation within the Park all at reasonable cost through SAN Parks
