Gorges trail is a wonder of nature. A small waterfall lies hidden and waits for you to visit it. Absolutely amazing walking through a nature path until the destination where the waterfall is.

Follow this trail down into the gorge carved by the Niagara river. Thundering rapids, amazing colors in the fall, and lots of things to see.

We hiked from the lower parking lot up to the whirlpool area. What a beautiful hike with lots to see. Definitely a must for this area.

Gorgeous views from within the gorge, right along the Niagara River. You can see some of Horseshoe Falls in the distance framed underneath Rainbow Bridge. You also get great views as you cross under the Whirlpool Bridges. The river is an emerald color, so beautiful....More

The main parking lot for the park is $10 flat rate. It was full both days we went there and had to pay $20 flat rate at the nearby lot.

Completely agree with the other reviewer. There are a Lot of metal steps leading down into the gorge but other than than you'll have choices of how hard to make the trail. Do take water etc though. There's nothing anywhere... More
