Niagara Falls is not a very safe city and this neighborhood is one to avoid after dark. I went out there during the day to go to the dollar store and pharmacy, didn't try the restaurants.

The area is nothing to see but full of good resturants. We were advised tio try Michael's so we did and it was good advice. Great bean soup and Pizza and pasta. No reservations but it can get busy and you wait. Luckly we didn't wait long. Prices good, children friendly. About 2 miles from the falls.

Wow how depressing can one street be? I grew up in Niagara Falls and like so many of my generation I moved away in search of better opportunities. I remember Pine Ave as a vibrant and interesting place with shops of many descriptions lining both sides of the street. Today Pine Ave is a faded and semi derilect shadow of... More

took a car ride through little italy and found many restaurants with much more reasonable rates, example olive garden, longhorn steak house and highly recommend the bakery restaurant.

There is a small hole in the wall sandwich shop that most people would overlook, but if you want a great deal for your money and the absolute best philly steak or many other steak, chicken, or sausage sandwich you will ever have go here !!!!

Bottom Line: NOT a tourist town. People live here, and it had a very ... ugh ... how shall I say it ... "lived in" look. But the locals don't care, and I applaud them. They don't roll the red carpet out for you, but you won't go away hungry or neglected. It's just a Small Town American place that... More

Small local resturant with outstanding food for the money. A plate of food was enough to feed 3 people. Staff was very friendly. Had the chicken broccoli and pasta, it was yummo for your taste and wallet!

Little Italy in Niagara Falls is pretty much a couple of streets with heavily Italian ownership, interspersed with a lot of "just regular" businesses. There are a few good restaurants and a vegetable market, but otherwise the area is nothing more Italian than lots of areas in other cities.

Given this is my hometown much has been improved over the years. A drive down Pine Ave (Little Italy) is a trip down memory lane with lots of shops and restaurants. Suggest stopping in the city market for a bite as it is quaint and pleasant.
