I found out the hard way that the bridge considers potholes road hazards and they won't compensate you for blown tired. Watch out for the big hole just before the bridge east bound.

I'm surprised to see that Trip takes reviews of bridges. Maybe that's a big thing in places where the bridges are modern and are works of art. This one is not. The access to the bridge is confused and dangerous. It needs to be repaved....More

I will say crossing the bridge and getting into the correct lane with minimal traffic was challenging based on how the lanes were set up. Can only imagine what its like during peak driving. On the other hand walking over on a beautiful sunny late...More

I like walking bridges. When I lived in the Bay Area, I walked over the Golden Gate Bridge a few times a year. I walk to work now from my home in Brooklyn to my job in lower Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge. So when...More

We love this bridge. It looks great from a distance, and, it even looks great when you drive across it. We wanted to park and make use of the pedestrian/bike lane, but always, it was raining really hard, most of the time we were in...More

This is a very dis-organized bridge. For some stupid reason they put the expass lanes in the middle, not to one side or the other. At busy times, when traffic backs up, you can't get to the ezpass lanes which just slows everything down. In...More

This Bridge has been here since the Ferry was discontinued. Still pay a toll but only one way. Lots of improvement done & no waiting at Toll booth unless its a holiday. Still doesn't cost as much as other bridges.

It is great to walk or bike across the span. The passing traffic can be very loud but the view of our majestic Hudson River and surrounding cliffs, boats, island etc are worth a little noise. In October the leaves will be changing and the...More

I was in the Hudson Valley on family business, I lived in the HR Valley for 28 years before moving to Western NY. I'm more familiar with the more northern bridges, The FDR/Mid-Hudson bridge between Highland and Poughkeepsie, and the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge further up. I...More
