A very unique lake up in the mountains that was formed by a glacier. Absolutely gorgeous place to be in direct contact with nature.

So awesome! The visitor’s center is a must see if you don’t want I hike. They also have lectures and a gift shop. Better go early during peak season. The parking lots hit capacity quickly so better get their early.

Can't say enough of the wonderful hiking and biking at the mohonk preserve. Views are great. Trails are usually well marked, but you should always carry the preserve map with you. Great for any season. Cross country sking and snow shoeing.

Having never been to Mohonk Preserve before, we asked the person working the register for a recommendation. We asked for a moderately strenuous hike that would last a couple hours. Leaving from the Visitor's Center we did hike up a short trail to the Undercliff...More

It is fairly tight--but it's not so much a matter of fitting as it is maneuvering out. if you're hesitant have a companion go first to give you a hand.
