The surround beach is so beautiful. You can swim there, the beach is rough but many people were fishing. In order to go top of the lighthouse, the ticket is $11 per adult. Had to wait around 45 mins in a queue to go there....More

We had a large group visit the lighthouse about 30 minutes before closing. Parking was free after 4pm I think, so it was nice to be able to park for free. We decided to not pay the admission fee since it was going to close...More

They call it "the end" because it is. Light house is at the very tip of Long Island. The town is quaint and some excellent seafood restaurants there. Gossmans dock has an excellent lobster roll. Try it all out. You will be 😁

One of the finest historic lighthouses in the USA. Over the course of a lifetime I have visited and seen most of the historic lighthouses in the United States and even a few in Europe. Well worth the effort to visit this great place .

I did see several dogs leashed on the property. I do believe they can go in the lighthouse though
