This garden combines the eastern garden and American garden''s philosophy. There are many corners and surprised views along the way. It's an easy stroll through the garden. My favorite corners are associated with water, the sound provides great moments for contemplation.

I know there's a character minimum, but this is the summary: Spectacular. A must for any serious gardener. Go often and see the subtle changes. I have gone for decades and still find something new every visit.

This is a beautiful interesting place. The "visitor center" is a lady standing in the parking lot. It took a long time to go around the lake because I kept stopping to take photographs. There's no Disneyworld here. It's nature, thoughtful gardening and so peaceful.

Having read so much about this garden I was hoping it lived up to the hype and it does indeed. Beautiful peaceful setting and rolling green lead to amazing vistas. Well worth the visit. I look forward to going back again and again.

We visited on the last week of the season. The colors were glorious, and we practically had the garden to ourselves. This made it very peaceful and spiritual. The garden bills itself as one of the 10 best in the world. It is lovely, but as someone who has seen many gardens around the world - I'd say the marketing... More

Once of the most beautiful, peaceful, relaxing gardens I've ever visited. Plan to return each season to see how the landscape changes. Pleasant 1.2 mile walk. Highly recommended.

Took my best friend there for a hike before going to Millbrook Winery for jazz concert with dinner for her birthday. This beautiful gem of a park is little known but definitely worth the visit to the area of route 44 in Millbrook area. Has beautiful garden area and picnic area as well.

This was a beautiful place. There were streams, terraced plantings, waterfalls, water sculptures, and stone steps and terraces. We did not hurry through, we followed the map and we were there around 90 minutes. There was a picnic area and we had our picnic there. The woods, water, sky, and rocks all come together with beautiful landscaping. It was $6,... More
