Very pleasant to walk here. Walking by the marina is great in nice weather. You see and hear the sailboats, duck, etc. People are friendly. There is a good play area for children.

Actually, there is too much to say about HIP. Other than winter, something is going on all the time: field sports, tennis, summer camp, beach, concerts, special events, cherry blossoms, bird watching, marina, etc.

Driving by Harbor Island Park, I was taken in by the beautiful view of the harbor with its boats. There are places for sporting events, walking trails, and a sandy beach. There is a charge for parking in the summer.

Decided to soak up a sunny Sunday afternoon at the beach with my sister in law. It's a great quiet beach with a water park for kids to play in.

This is a lovely park with lots of green grass areas, a terrific children's playground, tennis courts, and a beach. There is a fee for everything including parking. It's well taken care of, but dogs are not welcome.

There is no fee for the playground area. You do have to pay to park unless you find a spot on the street. To use the sprinklers you must pay the fee for the beach.
