This is one of my favorite parks to visit. It has huge sculptures and ever changing installations. It is great to have a picnic or just look at art. I stop here a lo when I am biking just to see the new art.

Worth the visit to see 'Built', an exhibition by Virginia Overton. Great space, brilliant sculptures and ideal for a picnic (bring your own). You can take a ferry along the river afterwards.

This park is located next to the COSTCO parking lot, however, Socrates Park has stimulating art and waterside tranquility on most days.

We stumbled upon this Park on the way from Astoria Boat Ferry Terminal which is close by. Perhaps not at it’s best and needing some TLC. However, in fairness there were a number of people about, and it hosts a number of local events.
