We stopped by one afternoon while at Onondaga Lake Park. I will come back! I’m a history lover so this was right up my alley, but I must say the kids were entertained too. I plan to come back on a solo adventure one day...More

Pleasantly surprised w the information, presentation, history right under our nose. Family from Alabama loved every minute. It was a hot day and a little uncomfortable...not that common...so i’m sure most days are comfortable.

Great little museum to learn about Syracuse's salt history. Doesn't take long to have a look around but it's interesting but a little run down. Still a good stop if you're in the area.

Something I’m not sure many think to visit but it’s part of our Syracuse history and amazing to see what it was like in this area years ago check it out

It’s a museum about salt, enough said. Go outside and enjoy the giant park that the museum is in. I went here when I was in middle school as as an adult and nothing has changed.

This is a small, free museum at the front of Onondaga Lake Park. It's cool and damp inside, there are a few exhibits of what was once a thriving 'salt industry' back in the 1800's. Onondaga Lake was fresh water, but there were salt springs...More
