The park is nice and in a location that is convenient to Syracuse. The lake, though, has had its share of problems. Once considered the most polluted lake in the US, Onondaga Lake has undergone many years of cleanup by various parties. According to New...More

There's not a whole lot to do in good Ol' Syracuse, NY. But this is one of my favorites. There are well-groomed trails, most of which are asphault roads, that run all the way around the lake. The county takes very good care of this...More

Bikes are available to rent and ride almost completely around the lake. For walkers, the trams come and go to top on & off where you want to be (no fee). Rollerblading is another fun way to cover distance while enjoying the water view with...More

Onondaga lake park is a great place for a walk or run, and to enjoy the scenery of the lake. Plenty of picnic areas, and pavilions to reserve. During the holiday season they have the lights on the lake display which is a must see

My family and I go to Onondaga Lake Park quite often throughout the summer. It's a great place to picnic, ride bikes, go boating, go fishing and to have family gatherings. Beautiful views and outstanding sunsets. The one major drawback is that you can't trust...More

Beautiful park. It is well kept and very peaceful. There is a nice dog park that I take my dogs to. People are very friendly at the dog park.
