A nice place to visit with the kids. It has a good description of electricity generation and a decent view of the gorge downstream of Niagra falls. You do not get a very interesting river view.

So many interactive things for kids to do! We spent an hour and a half here. We could've easily spent longer, but had to start heading home.

If you were here years ago, you will be stunned by the change. Magnificent scenery complemented by educational and entertaining exhibits. Very interactive and a great rainy day activity. Not really suitable for babies or strollers, but the school aged children will have a blast. Plenty of free parking right outside the entrance, which is very friendly and welcoming. It's... More

I did not expect this to be as entertianing as it was. I thought I would be walking out on a deck and looking at a Hydro electric plant. I was mistaken the visitors center has a great view and boats a bevy of interactive displays that are pure fun for Adults and children I am so glad we took... More

Our large families (2 seniors, 4 adults and 4 small children) had tonnes of fun at the power plant visitor center. The center is well staffed and filled with lots of interactive activities(including a 4D simulator ). Everyone learns a lot! Did I mentioned that it is free and you have a badge (with your own picture ) as souvenirs?

The remodel with all of the interactive displays is really good. I especially liked the simulator. It is free with plenty of activities to keep kids busy for 1-2 hours. Great place to take them when the weather outside is not the best. They also have outdoor space to view the plant and the river.

25 girl scouts visited and from beginning to end the exhibits inspired excitement and enthusiasm. There was just not enough time for all the todo items. We will be returning!

Way better that expected. 4D ride was fun. People so so friendly. It's free and interactive my teenage girls and wife really enjoyed it. Ask at front desk on the way out for directions to drive to fishing area at base of dam. Gives u a whole different perspective at river level.
