Don't be afraid to walk right in here and look around. There are three rinks (1932, 1980, and a third practice one). The 1980 one is where the USA men's hockey team won. There are also lots of banners for ECAC college hockey here. The...More

You can walk into the arena and see where the miracle on ice happened. You can also pay for a tour of the museum if you wish. Its well worth your time

Tried on a Tuesday afternoon to visit the arena and have lunch. There was a complete lack of parking or opportunities to park. Therefore drove by the Olympic sites and left.

What a tour, very informative and engaging. Sean Donavan was an exceptional tour guide. Highly recommend to all visitors -- regardless of age; hockey fans or not. Great story of American triumph against all odds.

Free to visit while in Lake Placid. It's great to be able to see the site of one of America's greatest sporting victories. Worth even a brief visit to soak in the atmosphere.

Loved having the opportunity to walk into the stadium where our "Miracle on Ice" team won the 1980 Olympics!

Love places that are free! Walk through, see the Olympic history, usually there's something going on in the rinks (figure skating, hockey practice)

Has to be visited, however, this venue is on the (paid) Olympic tour of venues, but you can access this building without a ticket and see all of the moments from the 1980, and 1932 winter Olympics

There is a very little bit of free parking behind the rink up the side street between the rink and the hotel. There is paid parking in front and in a large town lot of the far side of the rink
