Todgha Gorge is a canyon and carved out of cliff-sided canyons. At this point the canyon narrows to a flat stony track, in places as little as 10 metres (33ft.) wide, with sheer and smooth rock walls up to 160 metres (525ft.) high on each...More

We visited with young children who enjoyed playing in the water along with the many picnicking local families. There is fantastic potential for hiking and climbing for the active traveller, limited mainly by the heat (over 40 degrees Celsius when we visited)

Did not really know what to expect, but found it strange that this gorge is such a tourist spot. It took from the experience that there is a road there and a lot of buses and cars parked along the road.

Great rock gorge formations with a cool river running thru it. Best part when we went there was all the locals (hundreds) that had come out to enjoy the evening air and festive atmosphere. Since it was a Sunday, many families were having picnics here....More

Yes. We drove all through Morocco with no problems. We rented a car in Marrakech and then stayed in Tinehar for 2 days to see the gorge and surrounding area. If you are driving, you may want to drive up the gorge to a real... More
