This place is worth a visit and worth supporting as it is a sanctuary for tortoises and the local people are trying to undo the past and showcase what Rodrigues would have been like before the arrival of humans - a NOBLE attempt. Well done to the funders and the guides. Long may you continue.

The park is of a very very high standard. Tortoises are very well treated and the staff is very well trained and know their subject. Avoid at all cost eating their as the restaurant ha a very limited offer and poor quality food.

Kids will love it. Plenty of tortoises. Tourists guide are very professionals. They know their subject. Caves are original and accessible.

Most enjoyable and very educational. Great knowledgeable guide. Lots of fun with the different turtles. My only issue is the road conditions from the main road leading to the park. We had a rented car and boy, was it ever a bad road with way too many potholes. It was a disgrace that visitors should enter the park throught such... More

Massive rocks encircling a park where over 200 tortoises roam about, it is the nearest to being in a Jurassic park.Next door are lighted calcite caves where the splendour of the staglagtiles and the staglagnites can be appreciated. There is also a small museum where the bones of the now extinct Solitaire bird, the cousin to the Dodo is displayed.... More

Been there for our last day of vacation, there are only tortoise and the cave. Whenever I visit an animal park, I love to see the animals wild and free. It was the case for the tortoise and they were very friendly. So cute the way they ask for cuddles and scratching on their neck.
