Two and a half very happy years in Lokitaung - but over 50 years ago! I would love to return, but from what I can learn about conditions today, there would appear to be problems relating to security in that part of north western Kenya.

Going there soon for its beaches and boat safaris to the central island. Magnificent. Its true you can sleep at the beaches of lake turkana without any worries whatsoever.
