Lake George was a beautiful place. The view of the mountains and lakes were spectacular. It is such a wonderful place to visit with family and friends. In the winter, its fun to go sledding with family and friends. In the spring, hiking on the mountains is such a fun experience to do.

The town was kind of closed but what was open was nice. We were there in November and they did a polar plunge. They are having another in February along with snow mobilize on the ice.

Lake George itself is absolutely beautiful. The beach is very nice and the water is great to swim in. There are many activities available on the lake itself. If you enjoy water activities, this is the place for you.

Definitely a place to bring family. There are bars around the lake. The lake has very clear water. There's shopping places on the side of the lake. We got a nice shirt and some souvenirs. Most stores are closed now. The motels and lodges lay side by side so it's easy to get accommodation now. But Summer time forget it!... More

I have business up here quite often and NEVER get tired of the view! No matter what time of the year, you can really enjoy the view from the top of Prosperct Mtn., take a ride along the lake, on a boat on the Lake or at one of the myriad restaurants or hotels on the lake! Lovely, lovely place.

Great family vacation. The mountains and scenery are spectacular. Lots to do even in the off season some shops were closed but there was still a good variety

My husband and I came up to Lake George because we had never been and I had bought a Groupon for the Fort William Hotel. We arrived on a Friday evening around dinner time and left at breakfast Sunday. There is very little around Lake George other than tourist trap stores. Most of the stores were closed for the season.... More
