We did not make it to the falls due to lack of GPS signal. We ended up on Hog Town Road which was a short cut to Shelving Rock Road. Hog Town road was gravel; I suggest you avoid this unless you are in a jeep. Steep climbs and tight corners with limited sight, about a car and a halfs... More

Made our way to this out of the way spot again this year and had a lovely time at the waterfalls. Water 3 feet at it's deepest. You can sit in the falls, kids can splash around. Suggest water shoes for the rocks. Some braver sorts climb the falls. Beautiful spot, just make sure you aren't low on gas. You... More

During the fall, Winter and the spring this is an amazing place, but avoid it during weekends and near holidays in the summer because some people are horrible and leave this place a wreck. There are a lot of other hidden waterfalls off the main path and a good number of Pagan shrines that are nearby if you know what... More

This hike was not difficult. The falls were a short walk down the path. There is a small pond for dipping, but we just enjoyed the view from the top and bottom of the falls. If you continue down the path and veer right, you reach the lake. A lot of boaters stop there for swimming and socializing. You can... More

We hiked out to the waterfall. We are not experienced hikers. It was a gorgeous spot! My two kids were with us and we all had an easy time finding the falls. Not to be missed!

Hiked three years ago and found the Shelving Rock Summit this time the falls. Spectacular having been to Hawaii I was impressed that these falls were in New York. Bring your suit and water shoes. Easy to moderate walk from parking lot.

Hidden little gem of lake George, we had a guided pontoon tour of the lake and after a short hike we arrived here. It was definitely worth viewing, will definitely be going back to explore more.

Nice easy walk/hike to beautiful waterfalls with a swimming hole. Easy walk to the falls, can hike further into th woods and end up on the edge of the lake. Peaceful, quiet, lovely.
