Scenic views, pleasant breezes and flowing water, tides and eddy's. It's historic, it's educational and it's there to keep everyone safe.

We saw this lighthouse while cruising the Hudson RIver. The guide told us about how the lighthouse keeper & his family lived in the house. It's only accessible via boat, so it would have been a unique life to say the least. Glad we were...More

Enjoyed this light house while on the river cruise, beautiful setting on the Hudson. A great historical landmark to add to my light house list.

Saw this lighthouse pretty close up on the Hudson River Cruise. Pretty cool. I think the only way to go inside it is if you go on a special lighthouse cruise since it's not connected by land.

Not visible from the landing, but clearly seen from a park a mile or so up-river - or by taking a boat ride. On a small island in the middle of the Hudson River.
