What a cool find. There's a parking lot a short walk away from a great natural swimming home at the base of a waterfall. They have life guards, showers, and even a diving board for jumping in. The water is cold but worth it. An...More

Absolutely beautiful park, well kept trails, lots of stairs- so it's a good work out. Nice swimming hole. Nice views of the water and wilderness. Go early in the morning for your hike and avoid people. I think parking is 10$ or something, but they're...More

Went on a college Geology class field trip and was captivated. Back recently and was every bit impressed. There are so many cool gorges and the like up there but for me this is the best. Don’t miss if you’re in Ithaca.

It has a great swimming hole not far from the parking area. You can also camp here, you have to drive through the river to get to the camping area. Also there is a great hike that does a big loop. Definitely take the time...More

We visited in late fall after a huge rain. Waterfall was amazing, but obviously, no swimming this time of year.

Returned to see this placed an recall childhood memories after 50 plus years. It's still a beautiful walk to the falls. Such a lovely spot especially "off season". New visitor center a big plus, well done.

Good news, the falls and swimming area is a very short walk, maybe five minutes, from the parking lot. There are rock ledges to sit on if someone needs to rest. Park toward the far back of the lot if possible to make the... More

I believe both were open. We really enjoy the step side of the trail. I think the views of the falls are much prettier. There are quite a few stairs, but there are many places to stop & rest on the way back up if necessary... More

Well we were just there and under the diving board was very deep, well over 8 feet. Shallow end ranged, but fairly quickly went over five feet.
