One of most beautiful places in Queretaro. If you want to spent some time sitting in the shade watching locals and tourists going around, or have a good coffee, food or drink, shop, listen to the live music... this is the place. Love it!

Queretaro, MX is an historic town with lots of site, churches, stores and lots of different types of vendors and locals to inter-act with. Very colorful and lots to see and do. The people are amazing and also has ton's of different of restaurants which give lots of different choices.

Queretaro's historic center is a fun place to walk around and eat and visit the historic sites. The Plaza de Armas is a pleasant spot in the middle of things to rest for awhile, have a drink, people watch.

This past weekend we were walking around Old Town Queretaro when we heard this wonderful music coming from our destination. As we emerged on the Plaza de Armas a folk dancing festival was in full swing. And this went on all day. Every two hours a different show...not just folk dancing. We drew the limit at the comedy show as... More

We got there twice to have dinner, the place is really enjoyable with music and very good restaurants , is a piece of the past, with old building and if you are to walk around you can find amazing church's with thousand year of history and very well kept.

Each time I go to Queretaro I always make time to spend a little time at the Plaza de Armas. It's great for people watching and soaking up the local culture. It can get quite lively in the evenings over the weekend. There are a couple of good restaurants on the square that I enjoy eating at. Overall, the Plaza... More

Every Hispanic city has Plaza de Armas (Plaza Major). This one is not the biggest I have seen but definitely one of the most enjoyable. It is great place to sit down after busy day and enjoy end of the day.

This is the typical Mexico square with benches under trees but the difference is that it's beautiful, clean, full of life all day and until small hours of the morning. It's safe, has free wifi and is surrounded by cafes and craft stalls. So take a book, get a coffee and watch the world go by. Stay at Santa Rosa... More

Plaza de Armas is a pedestrian square with a central fountain and lovely shade trees. It's a wonderful place to people-watch from one of many cafes and restaurants that line the square.
