We visited the island as a stopover on Msc Sinfonia. They take you via tenderboat to the island. Lots of fascilities on the island(the fascilities are owned by msc so you wont be able to use them if not part of the cruise) Clean bathrooms plus showers. Lot of shaded areas with tables and a small childrens playground. Bar fascilities... More

The ship Fantasia was well designed except for the fact if you wanted to read your book in the fresh air away from all the noise you had to go to your room! (We had a balcony cabin). No deck had outside access except the upper two decks. We bought an all-inclusive drinks package but were charged €6 for a... More

The water is warm and the waves are gentle. The setting is gorgeous! This is the perfect place to relax and take it easy. We were with a cruiseline so activities were provided but I think the experience would have just as great without them. It was nice to interact with the locals and get a glimpse into their everyday... More

As part of the MSC cruise, our stop over was delightful. I loved the local crafters on display and the ocean water was divine for swimming.

I see there are so many negative reviews about the MSC cruise line which i honestly cannot believe. I have been on the Sinfonia from Durban to Capetown and on the Opera from Durban to the Portuguese islands. I had an absolutely fantastic time on both. The food is great and never ending and the options are endless, the entertainment... More

Had a wonderful day and night here by MSC Cruise. We had a lovely day on the beach. I wish we could have sailed around the island as well to explore it.

This stop was part of the MSC Sinfonia cruise. The cruise itself was awesome, the food was great and always changing. Except for the breakfast - the scrambled eggs were very watery. But the crew was very helpful and friendly, there was Walt's something to do. There is enough water stations onbroad to keep you hydrated and you only need... More

We went on our first cruise with the MSC Sinfonia. It was a three night cruise leaving Durban Harbour on Friday 18th November and returning Monday morning 21st November. Prior to going on the cruise we weren't sure what to expect but ended up totally enjoying it from start to finish. The embankment process was smooth as we used a... More
