The only way you can see West Point is by way of the bus tours given at the Visitor Center. The comfortable buses take you through the Thayer Gate and all around campus. The first stop is the Cadet Chapel. You see the beautiful building and the gorgeous stained glass windows and fabulous interior of the chapel. You will pass... More

Take the time for the 2 hour tour as you will get extra time to see the gorgeous West Point Chapel and the West Point Cemetery. Ann did our tour and was so full of history and wonderful information. Even after our trip I wanted to go thru again as there was so much to absorb. The bus was clean... More

It was a perfect Sunday afternoon in April with the flowering trees in bloom - a great time to take a tour of West Point, learn about the institution and some US history as well, and introduce my 12-year old to the USMA (possibly to save $300,000 in tuition in about five years). We drove up from Princeton, NJ, parked... More

The bus tour was a terrific way to see the academy and learn the significance of different sights. The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and did a good job explaining things, providing the history, and pointing out pertinent buildings, statutes, landmarks, trivia, etc. Very informative. Comfortable bus. Trophy point is fascinating. After the thorough bus tour, went back... More

Four of us who are very interested in history went on the one hour bus tour. All of us were disappointed and would give this advice to those who are going there. You can get a pass to drive and walk onto the campus and take a self guided tour. This way you will have time to walk trophy point... More

We had been to West Point before but never took a tour. This tour was informative and paced exactly right. The guide was knowledgeable, had a good sense of humor and friendly. Answered all questions. Very reasonably priced!

We had a very interesting and enjoyable tour of West Point. It was our first time there and we were not disappointed. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The weather was bone chilling and we had to get out of the bus a couple of times to walk to the various tour points but it was nonetheless a great experience.

You made our one hour bus tour so informative and fun. We learned so much not only about cadet life but also the interesting history of the institution and grounds. You answered our questions, recounted lively anecdotes and encouraged us to come back to this fascinating area. The cost of this tour was very reasonable, parking our car was easy... More

We took the 1 hour tour and really enjoyed it. They explain the history and daily life of USMA. The tour guide was excellent. We reserved online and the process was easy. A definite must if you are visiting West Point.

We did the 2 hour tour. This included hopping on and off the bus several times . We walked thru the cemetery and saw graves of famous people, saw the parade grounds, and walked near the river to get a gorgeous view of the Hudson. Lots of interesting information by our guide. Before or after your tour, don't forget to... More
