What a beautiful setting for rescue animals. The property, barns, and animal pens were clean and well maintained. The animals all appeared to be in good shape despite their backgrounds. Whether you agree or not with vegans and veganism you should know how your food is getting to you and the stories told will definitely open your eyes! My three... More

My daughter had heard about this sanctuary on line and was dying to visit as she is a huge animal lover. The Sanctuary itself is lovely and getting to be hands on with the animals was absolutely thrilling. Having said that, I was very upset over the constant stories about animals being buried alive and gassed and tortured. Yes, I... More

Very inspiring to be there. Met many fun animals and learned a lot about the livestock industry. This place has a lot of growth potential.

This was our first time visiting Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in their new location. Each visit has been equally wonderful. This visit was during the Halloween event, HalloWoodstock. The event was great. Well worth the 3 1/2 hour drive each way for us! It's so nice to see the animals who reside there getting a second chance and living the life... More

You can take a guided tour or just walk around. The guided tours are nice because you get to interact more with the larger animals which is really fun. (I had my hand licked by a bull - an experience I will not soon forget!) I should say that while I am very aware of and against factory farming methods... More

My wife and I were looking for something to do this weekend and came across this sanctuary. We saw a lot of different types of farm animals - chickens, turkeys, cows, goats, pigs, sheep, ducks, and bunnies. They even have a rescued cat who was hanging out with the goats when we saw him. The animals look happy and it... More

Having never been to an animal sanctuary before this was a great first experience. The staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The animals were so very sweet and Dudley the cow came over to our group when he was called. This was a great educational experience of the life of a farm factory animal. It's not always easy to... Farm Sanctuary is no longer in Willow, it has moved to High Falls, NY. It is a much larger facility so they can offer sanctuary to a much larger number of farm animals. In addition to taking care of the animals, they also do education programs.
