This is a growing museum, they a great space with a lot of history. They have several classes to offer, boat building, they have several boats they are rebuilding. It is great to see how boats were built from the late 1800s.

My husband is a wooden boat fan and we found his favorite the Penn Yan at a new museum just outside of Hammonsport, NY. Old Penn Yans were plentiful. The museum was under development and we are sure to return.

This museum had a lot of great information about the boating life of the Finger Lakes. It's not a huge museum, but it is jammed-packed with lots to see.
