A little bit of Africa in Perth

Beautiful African animals roam here. From lions and tigers to monkeys and chimpanzees. Birds and hippos. Snakes and other animals as well. It is also budget friendly.

Now that the Catskill Game Farm has been closed for several years, this is the next best place to visit to see the animals. There are large areas where the animals are free to graze and intermingle. There are also areas where the animals are caged to prevent their escape into other areas.

This place is so cool. We have it down to a science - show up early and view all the zoo stuff. Then ride the game tour. The camels get messy on the game tour - but thats part of the fun!

we resign ourselves to going since we don't want to travel far. they charged like 15 bucks each and myboy was only juts over a year old. sheesh. hot. sweaty. dusty. itchy. nothing like a zoo so if you're expecting that skip this. more like an expanded farm that isn't maintained. guess it fun for the family who has money... Love, love, love. Great experience. Love giraffes and was able to spend time with them and fed them as well. The safari ride is awesome, got up close to a number of animals....so much fun!!!

I have attended the Animal Land twice this summer. It has three giraffes that are able to be hand fed carrots. It was the highlight of my summer to feed the giraffes. One tried to even wrap is tongue around the cup of carrots, but I was prepared. I like to ensure they all get some. I also am a... More

This is a small, outdated, for-profit family owned zoo which only accepts cash. Unlike other zoos, there is no research or rehabilitation. Just cages and profit. They charge for kids 12 months and older which I thought was petty. For an extra $2 you can buy animal feed (pellets or carrot sticks). This seemed like a cute idea, but once... More

We enjoyed this little zoo. There was the usual petting zoo consisting of goats but there was also a separate area full of deer you could feed, pet, even hug. Also a budgie house where birds fly around free and land on you (especially if you buy a food stick $2). You can even hand feed giraffes. Highlight was the... More

Our 18 month old granddaughter was visiting with her parents and grandma took them to this park! All of us had a fun morning enjoying the many animals in clean, large confines. Be sure to sit in the back when you ride the Safari Ride as the tour guide stands in the back with a container of food and lures... More

My family and I along with some friends went to Adirondack Animal Land while we were vacationing in Lake George. It was our first time there. I was so surprised when we drove up to place. We first saw horses on the way then we saw the giraffes. We were allowed to feed the giraffes. I have never experienced this... More
