Incredibly picturesque beach. Absolutely worth visiting. Be careful of tides - very strong. Tourists tend to ignore but there are a few drownings each year. Stay in shallow water if you plan to swim. Enjoy!

A great beach, large with lots of space, but difficult to find a shadow. If you are early, there are a few palm huts available for 100 rubees. Usually the are big waves here, so it is not good for swimming. A few rocks in...More

The beach in the evening is frequented by local surfers because of the exciting waves. During the day it makes a welcome change from other beaches where the water is much calmer. Shade is limited although we did manage to secure one of the makeshift...More

We took the ferry from Praslin, it's about 20 minutes or so and a nice boat ride. La Digue/ Grand Anse is a very nice island and a must see. You can rent a bike to get around the island which is very easy unless...More

Spent some time here on this beach while on a day trip to La Digue. Gorgeous rock formations, white sands and turquise water. Perfect !

White sands and turquoise blue sea. A nice place to relax. The sea was quite rough for swimming but the waves were fun.

Beautiful beach, but not for swimming, just paddling. Super cycle here but a bit hilly near the beach.

Be prepared to cycle up and down the hill, but it’s worth it. The beach is stunning, but it doesn’t provide much shade. There are some big waves, so it’s not safe to swim.

Be prepared for biking and hiking :-) Beautiful surroundings on the way but if you are not fit it would take quite an effort to get to and from that beach (especially if you decide to go to Petit or Coco, wear sneakers and bring...More

Hello guys, I am planning my honeymoon in Seychelles for 8 days with my wife in early December, 2017. I want to do snorkelling, SCUBA diving, nature hike and beach relaxation on my vacation. There are 6 main attractions which I wish want to visit to take beautiful photographs. Anse Source D'Argent, Anse Grande Soeur, Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette (including Morne Blanc mountain hike) and Mahe Island for Morne Blanc climbing and a visit to Victoria market. Could anyone please guide me how should I plan my trip to get the best out of my honeymoon. Where to stay to see all these exotic beaches and how to make to and fro excursions easy and comfortable. We may change our stay on every 2-3 days for the other places (May be 2-3 days for Praslin, La Digue and Mahe Island each). Which tour company to use for Island hoping? We have the budget of about 1500 USD for this trip of 8 days. Truly appreciate your suggestions and grateful for the time provided by you guys to help me plan this out. Best wishes…

Hi, I'm in La Digue now after a 15 days between mahe and praslin. For you honeymoon you don't need a tour company you can easily plan all yourself. I've bought a lonely planet guide. In Mahe: I suggest the beaches in the... More
