Our favorite beach on La Digue!

This is a beautiful sandy beach about 20 minutes on bike from the harbour. One should be prepared for some steep climbs in the final 1.5 Kim's but there are an equal number f fast descents. The beach has no cover and it's best to bring one's umbrella for shelter. Do have sandals as the sand gets very hot here.... More

Lovely sandy beach with plenty of space for people to lay out on. Such clear beautiful water everywhere. No algae or seaweed there really. As with many of the Seychelles' beaches be careful regarding stepping on to coral and on to granite rocks in the water and regarding swimming and snorkelling around the granite rocks in the water.

You need a bike to get there and be prepared for a couple of steep climbs but it's worth it for a typical Seychellois beach. Take sun cream and go early, there's not much shade. It has a beach side snack bar.

After long interesting bicycle ride you are there in a beautiful sandy beach with big waves . Good for swimming and surfing in high waves.

I really enjoyed this beach because of the big waves, the "restaurant" on it, the vegetation and the long way from the hotel to it with the bicycle. It you don't like the bicycle, you don't have one or you don't like big waves, I don't recommend it to you (Petit Anse either). If you do, then you really have... More

La Digue is the smallest of the three big islands of Seychelles and the least developed. It is a must see when in Seychelles. This beach is its biggest beach which is not crowded and like the rest of Seychelles beaches stunning. It is great to swim and snorkel in. I personally liked Beau Vallon more for swimming and snorkeling... More

We biked here from our guest house Etoile Labrine. It took around 20 mins, and there is an uphill section that will warm you up but it's nothing an average joe can't do. Worst case you have to walk a bit. It is a very large beach where you can spread out. There is no cover though so either bring... More

We went a quite long way by bike only to find this great beach with a big sign telling us that swimming was forbidden due to strong currents:(
