Wine trip

This is my favorite winery, this is a winery that makes dry wine, however on my last trip there everyone loved their wine even the devout sweet wine drinkers.

Enjoyed the view of the lake and vineyards from the deck. Of the wine samples we tasted, we liked the Pinot Gris best. Now that we're home, we wish we would have bought three bottles of it instead of one.

We stopped for a late lunch at the Ventosa Vineyard. It was perfect. What a beautiful vineyard. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious . I had pizza and a glass of wine overlooking the vineyard and lake. They even had good music. The creme brûlée was sooo good. I highly recommend this vineyard and will definitely return... More

Attractive winery with a great view from the back deck. Welcoming tasting room/shop. Tried 5 wines. Loved the semi-sweet Riesling. Nice and dry. Karen, in charge of the tasting, provided witty and quite funny exchanges with the 'hecklers' in my group, along with a lot of information about what we were tasting and wine in general.

Of all the wineries in the area I thought their red wines were best. The 2012 Cabernet Franc is excellent but I also enjoyed the Saggio Premium. A great view of the lake and good food.

On our drive back from Niagara Falls we broke up the trip with a quick stop at Ventosa Vineyard. Ivory, our sommelier, was very informative and all the wines we tasted were delicious. I had the prime rib panini and my husband had pizza. Both were very good. And the view was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We went to 5 vineyards on a Saturday afternoon. Ventosa had a beautiful deck and views of vineyard. We did tastings at all the vineyards we visited and this one was the stingiest! I don't expect a glass, but the pourings were not even a swallow. I thought it was hard to determine if I liked the wine.

One of the nicest wineries on Seneca Lake. I recommend the cheese plate and any glass of the excellent wines. The back deck and view from are unreal!

Stopped here on a weekend for lunch and had a wonderful time! The food was excellent and the service was great. F.Y.I.- you order at the counter, seat yourself on the absolutely beautiful patio facing the vineyards and soak in the gorgeous view of Seneca Lake and vineyards! If you order wine (of course we did) you go directly to... More
