Great little playhouse, without a bad seat in the house. During the Summer months they run 5 or 6 plays we saw Into The Woods which was delightfully done .Seating was comfortable playhouse was in a rustic style which added to the atmosphere of this particular play. Certain nights you can have dinner before the play or join the cabaret... More

Guaranteed to be a great night out. We get a Flex Ticket every year (standard Christmas gift from the kids!). Flex lets you get six tickets, any way you choose. We chose two tickets for three different shows. Saw "Tommy" last night. Fabulous! Looking forward to "into the woods" next.

Yes a treat in the Catskills. Off off off Broadway. Great venue for a show. Caught the Addams Family, what a great show. Seating was great. Atmosphere was that of Broadway, exciting. Enthusiasm was felt from all actors dancers and staff. Wonderful, Bravo, Bravo.

Went to the Forestburgh Playhouse for the first time back in 2014 to see Mary Poppins. Having seen the play before on Broadway, I wasn't sure what to expect at such a small town playhouse. The show was excellent with a mix of professional Actor Equity Association, college drama students and local actors. The downer at the time..... the seats... More

have been going to the Forestburgh Playhouse during the summer for a few years now. This summer we saw Damn Yankees as well as 42Street at the Playhouse. The actors were talented & put on a great show. My only complaint are the seats, which are really squishy with practically no leg room. Nice to know that the playhouse will... More

Last Friday evening (9/4/15) we enjoyed seeing Driving Miss Daisy performed at the Forestburgh Playhouse in Forestburgh, NY (approx. 95 miles northwest of NYC). The cast of 3, including Lorreta Swit of MASH fame, put on an enjoyable and entertaining performance. The new owner has made numerous improvements to the theatre and the adjoining Tavern and, we were told, plans... More

Fabulous! Our first time at the playhouse was to see Driving Miss Daisy staring Lorreta Swit and we loved it! The intimate setting was exactly what we expected. We didn't go to The Tavern afterwards but hear it's very good, perhaps next time as there will be a next time!
