I know it was the wrong time of the year to go, but I was certainly glad I went when it was free. (Sunday morning 9-11) because I would have felt ripped off if I had to pay. Next to nothing going on, only daffodils blooming, and just overall nondescript.

We brought our son for the summer petting zoo, they had a lot of animals from rabbits to ponies, it was nice and they also had kids rides. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants, my son got some seeds so he could plant them at home. In this park you can also do your wedding reception. The only thing we... More

A place for local residents to learn gardening, recycling & composting. There is absolutely nothing of beauty to see here. The gardens are decrepit, tired and ill maintained.

I love their free hours. The park is large enough and informed for all ages. Great for spring or fall. I'm not really a summer person, but it is nice during summer too. And winter is always free to visit the park, which is nice. They have free hours all 4 season, but you'll have to make sure what day... More

A couple of years ago some childhood friends took me to hear LIVE Egyptian music and it was so amazing. So if you check online maybe you can find some good music here!!

If you ve been to other botanical gardens in NY, this one is smaller in comparison. but if you don't like to deal with crowds and noisy children running around. You might be able to find peace and quite here. Go early and have lunch in flushing :)

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Flushing, it's worth your while to take a walk down Main Street to visit the Queens Botanical Gardens where you'll find the best that nature has to offer--lush shade trees, winding paths & benches, fragrant flowers and herb gardens lovingly tended to. It's, by far, the most unspoiled acreage... More

A pleasant and restive day in a garden of delight. Not very big but good for a family outing and meditation. Comfortable seating areas but placed too far apart
