Very nice zoo to walk around and connect with nature. The animals were all spotted. The petting zoo allows you to be up close and personal.

Unexpectedly delightful. Not a large zoo, to be sure, but well worth the $10 entrance fee for a lovely hour walk around the pleasant grounds. One of the original cage-less zoos, all the animals come from the Americas (with many South American creatures represented). Be...More

The zoo is divided into two parts, a small zoo and a petting farm. We always have lots of fun feeding the animals at the petting zoo. We also enjoy the beautiful aviary dome which you should definitely visit! There’s a small playground as well.

This is a great zoo to visit on a low key day in Queens. Not as big as the Bronx Zoo but is just fine. Plenty of animals and exhibits to see.

Beautifully-kept zoo in the middle of a nice park in Queens. The zoo is specifically for species native to the Americas so I can't understand why people complain that there are no lions and tigers etc. Numerous excellent enclosures, with the geodesic aviary and the...More
