Great zoo for kids

Not big but we'll laid out and a cozy place for children to enjoy the animals and for parents to be able to relax while their children experience the animals.

I love the Queens zoo. This place pretty small but really nice place. We can find there many kind of the animals like birds, bears, dolphins, and many more. Also there are maby domestic animals (chickens, cows, zebra, and more. The place is perfect for visit with children and one of the best things is the price. The visitors can enjoy... More

Small, but cute. Great the surrounding park is so big for a walk after the zoo. Bathrooms were perfectly clean at the zoo.

This zoo is divided into three main areas - a petting / feeding area (not bottles - but rather pellets you buy in a machine - bring change - didn't see any change machines) and a larger area which includes - an Avery; pretty paths; sea lions (which trainers feed). There aren't a lot of animals but this place is... More

Great Zoo in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. I take the kids there often. No rush. No crowds. No stress. Easy way to spend a nice quite afternoon. Good assortment of animals and the kids always love the petting zoo. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The last 2 times we went, there was a volunteer at the bear exhibit who... More

We took kods ages 1-12. It seemed like a very lame zoo with not so many animals. The petting zoo was nice but very little variety of animals

This zoo is small but turned out great for us with our our toddler granddaughter. The admission fee of $8 per adult is reasonable, the total walking distance of about a mile is very manageable, and there are just enough animal exhibits to keep things interesting. The aviary was very good to see some birds including storks and colorful parrots... More

This is a great zoo for kids and adults alike. It's scale is kid friendly and the animals extraordiary. An aviary has birds able to fly around you, and the two bald eagles [outside] are not to be missed!
