We visited the Queens Museum for the first time in many years. In the interim, they have expanded and remodel, and extended their collection. Their primary focus is on artists and artisans who live in Queens. This visit we had a chance to view their...More

Although the Tiffany lamp collection was very nice, my feeling is that the star of the museum is the panoramic map of the five boroughs. It was so interesting to see it in person, because I had seen snippets of it in the movie The...More

The Panorama is very nice and the room with the stain glass display is fabulous. There is a lot of construction, however.

The museum itself would be a two without this exhibit. When I was there pretty much everything, except this panorama, was closed and it looked more like a cool event space. Admission is a suggested 8$. The panorama is awesome, especially if you live in...More

This is a good place to go if you’re in the area. The panorama is really cool and fun to really study. Otherwise there isn’t much to look at.

I had read about the Panorama of New York in a book and was keen to visit. Sadly the other parts of this handsome museum were closed off for remodelling when I visited, but the panorama was still available. What a work of art. The...More

I spent my whole afternoon with all the inspiring arts in here. Staffs are very friendly and the space is great. It's not close from the subway though.

I found the museum to be surprisingly interesting, covering a wide range of artists as well as art styles. Located in the middle of the beautiful Flushing Corona park, it provides a sense of harmony and incentivizes an initiative to learn all about the expositions,...More

Stopped by for a visit while on vacation in New York. There are many interesting displays to enjoy but the model of New York was by far my favorite.

I'd say two hours is plenty, unless you have a lot of interest in a particular exhibit. Be sure to visit the funky little gift shop--lots of great stuff.
