This is a spot to check out if you are interested in our history. The area is jammed with spots to see and explore. Great place to learn about our past, and think about these folks and how they did it all..........without cell phones!!

In New York on the border with Vermont along the shores of Lake Champlain. Great architecture and good views of the Champlain bridge and lake. Worth a quick stop!

Stopped here after visiting the nearby Crown Point Historic Site. Enjoyed walking the grounds and the views of the lake & bridge from the dock. If in the area, I'd recommend visiting!

What a lovely little gem... It didn't hurt that the evening my daughter and I happened upon the lighthouse it was unseasonably warm and balmy. Lake Champlain sparkled in the early evening, creating a nostalgic, almost magical, mood. Be sure to walk down to the...More
