This is a nice spot to visit for a picnic or just to relax outside for a while. Good place to let your kids run around, play frisbee, etc. The dam is more impressive than I expected, and it's relaxing hearing the water falling in...More

There's not a lot to see here, except some of the most amazing stonework that you'll ever see. It's a perfect example of the artistry and craftsmanship of the Italian immigrants who built this at the turn of the century...the other one, not the latest...More

We went there towards the end of the day and the scene was beautiful. There were families playing and picnicking all over. We drove to the top and all of the views were spectacular.

I've been here a couple times to take photos of the dam. It's also a great place to walk dogs and kids to play. The only major downside is the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. There are two porta potties but look like garbage dumps inside.

As we came down the sloped entrance onto a bridge, we were amazed at the sight of the whole dam, right in front of us! The sound of the water rushing over rocks -- part natural falls, part man made -- was loud and delightful....More

Living nearby, we sometimes forget how close we live to these key waterways and dams. We refer to this park as the Croton Gorge, and it is gorge-ous, especially the first time you come down the road and around the corner. There are walking and...More

The park is absolutely beautiful. Well kept and maintained. The staff is friendly. Perfect for a weekend picnic or to have your children run around. The water fall and dam is so cool looking and picturesque.

Maybe a bit less than 5 miles ,but there are cabs at the station, if you're not into hiking .

Not a long walk. If no issues with walking it should take 10mins or so to get to the top. There is a park below, which you can park at or there in another access Rd. that you can park at the top of the dam and walk across.
