Visited Van Cortlandt Manor (45 mins away from NYC) for the amazing Jack O' Lantern Blaze in November .Every year around October/November they put on a site where they have thousands of carved pumpkins made into all sorts of animals, characters , shapes and landmarks.....More

This is an amazing place to go for the young and old alike during the Halloween season. Thousands and thousands of lit up pumpkins create this maze of light through the property. It’s a sight to see. There is music throughout the experience as well....More

An interesting home from a prominent family of the 18th century. It has been restored nicely and the interior is fully furnished. You also tour a smaller house built for the tenant who ran the ferry. Certainly worth the visit.

They like kids and there plenty of places to run and play. Entering Halloween season kids are usually awed and not frightened

There is a parking lot right by the house. The house is now closed for the Pumpkin Blaze through December.
