Went here today with my wife and it was very nice. It was early in the season so not a lot on bloom but we did see a lot. The greenhouses were nice but we really liked the water displays. We can't wait to go back this summer when more is in bloom.

Always a fun place to visit. Nice garden and grounds. Good place to go for an afternoon, bring a lunch or buy something at the food court

Stonecrop does provide areas for guests to enjoy a bag lunch but we do not have a food court. On Garden Conservancy Open Days (1 Sunday per month) we do have tea and cake available for purchase. More

Stonecrop is not really an elaborate or formal garden, it is composed more of informal gardens and some nice planting beds. You drive in on a narrow road, parts of it which is gravel. On my visit, I parked on the lawn near the main house. I started exploring in the Rock Ledge Garden which has a small lake and... More

Beautifully landscaped and always something new to see. Especially loved the sweet critters along with way, including a cat that followed us through the pond areas as if it were a dog.

We wanted to spend some time together on a beautiful, sunny autumn afternoon, so we took a ride up the Hudson to this little gem. Very easy to find, and place that you can tell is beloved by those within whose care it has been charged. The gently sloping grounds reveal gardens well tended, and fill with perfectly arranged placements... More

I am an avid gardener, and have often visited large public gardens both in the US and abroad. I am embarrassed to say that I'd never heard of Stonecrop Gardens until just recently, when I researched the area on TripAdvisor for a trip to the Hudson Valley. What a remarkable, beautiful place it turned out to be. Acres and acres... More

We stopped at this very serene and peaceful garden. Everyone kept to themselves as we hung out and looked at the beautiful flowers that were everywhere. There are plenty of butterflies everywhere going from flower to flower. They have a beautiful walking path and ponds for beautiful backdrops. The staff was eager to answer our questions as well as very... More

This was a nice place to visit if you want a peaceful walk through the gardens. It was nice that there wasn't a lot of people there at the time, especially no kids! Sometimes it's just nice to be at a place that's not overrun with kids. The flowers were beautiful and the property was so peaceful.

I stopped here by chance one day since I was passing by. It really is quite lovely and I saw several people just sitting on the terraces enjoying the view and the gardens. Very serene. You also can get great ideas for flowers and if I remember right, you can purchase some. Worth the trip.

Thank Maureen M
