The OZ museum is a great place to visit any time of year. In the winter it is only opened on Wednesdays. I good friend of many Chittenango residents is in charge of the store as well as the annual OZ weekend.

this was a pleasant surprise. Many interesting items about the original books, the movie including munchkin costumes and all the offshoot productions of oz right up to the present. Gift shop has some fun items for the oz collector, including autographed items by some munchkins.

Very nice museum and gift shop. Lots of Wizard of OZ memorabilia and related gifts. I very much enjoyed it when visiting Chittenango for the OZ-Stravaganza Festival.

Thanks for visiting us. We do focus on "Wizard of Oz" related things and the OZ universe far more than Baum's personal life. We do have some newspaper articles you refer to in the exhibit, however they are not a focal point.

My husband is an Oz fan so we went and it was really good and he learned things we didn't even know. Price was right.. a donation and they will answer any questions you ask.

We stopped in just before it closed and the people super nice the gentleman who gave us the tour stayed after hours so that we could enjoy the museum he didn't rush us through told us to take her time after the tour was over...More

Yes there is. It is $5 for an adult. Children 10 and under are free. They also offer an AAA/CAA discount ($2.50) and they are a Blue Star museum so active duty Military families are always free.
