Lighthouse is right on highway 5. Quick turn into the boat ramp facility and it is an easy walk to the light. Nice grounds and a pleasant view.

I love this section of Route 5 from North East Pa to Dunkirk NY it's a nice easy relaxing drive along the Lake Erie Shoreline. While driving you will come to Barcelona Harbor where you can pull in and check out the harbor overlooking the harbor is the lighthouse. This area is very scenic great for sightseeing You can take... We stayed right across the street from this little light house unfortunately it wasn't; open to go in but beautiful to look at.

You can't actually go up into the lighthouse, but the local chamber of Commerce is set up in the light keepers house. The lady working the day we stopped in was very friendly and helpful and gave us many useful pointers for things to do in the area.

The history of this lighthouse is remarkable, as the lighthouse was never actually used! It is not open to the public, but you are welcome to stroll the grounds and even have a picnic there (picnic tables overlook the lake). The Chamber of Commerce is housed at the keepers quarters -- the gentleman working there was super nice and spent... More

A must for light house lovers. It's best viewed from a distance. Was surprised my 6 and 8 year old granddaughters liked it.

The Barcelona Lighthouse is best appreciated from a distance at the harbor park & pier. The lighthouse is now the chamber of commerce visitor center. There is plenty of parking on the pier with picnic tables, restroom facilities (summer), and tourist info (summer) onsite. The lighthouse and pier are located 3 miles north of Westfield along NY Route 5 about... More

My friend and I were on the final leg of our two day road trip when we spotted this small lighthouse. We decided to stop and check it out. It turned out that the new Visitors Center had just opened, but the lighthouse was not opened to the public. We were able to speak with a docent who had a... More

A beautiful, historic, free visit light house that adjoins Dan Reed Pier. Peaceful lakefront bliss. No one will believe you were here unless you take the required light house photo! :)

This beautiful old lighthouse right on Lake Erie caught our eye from the road and we had to stop. Another nearby attraction is an old shipwreck called the Sea Lion. There is a little convenience store nearby (the only bathroom available--customers only) that sells Green Mountain coffee and fresh baked cookies and the owner/cashier was very friendly and chatted to...
