Ooms Conservation Area is a small but picturesque nature preserve a few miles from Chatham. We went on a beautiful Summer day (good weather always helps) and walked around the pond, a not-too-long (a mile or so) and scenic hike on a wide, well-mowed path....More

I've been snowshoeing, others prefer Nordic skiing. Others prefer quiet walks on the rolling hills in summer and autumn. Great picnic spot.
