Great little museum in the Bronx! There was a high school student exhibit which was great, as there are a lot of very talented young people. The Cuban Exhibit was interesting, no admission fee and very nice museum staff.

Not stroller friendly! I went with my cousin and her 2 year old. We were asked to leave the stroller at the door. There is about 1 floor of actual exhibits but there are small stairs within the exhibit so not very wheelchair accessible either....More
Last summer I was at the museum for the Crains 5 Boro tour. It was a great evening and the installations were exciting to see.

The exhibits range from superb to mediocre. They also recently hosted an exhibit that depicted paintings of the BX. Funky and classic.
special exhibitions. You might catch a worthwhile one. For people who have seen everything else in NYC. (I doubt some body like that exists).
