This is a truly wonderful experience especially for people living in the city because it is not something you would see otherwise. The boat was spotless and the crew ensures the safety of every guest. Upon setting sail, a crew member provides not only important information about the boat, but what you can do if you are feeling sea sick what you can do to minimize it, where the life vests are located, restrooms etc. but he provided information about the waters that surround us and the living creatures within it. They ensure everyone has a chance to see the whales / dolphins. They will slowly turn the boat so everyone can see. On our trip the tide was coming in so it was a little rough ride on the way out but smooth on the way back. We attended the evening tour and it was perfect weather that day and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We saw a mother whale and her calf, they were very active and put on a show. The boat keeps their distance as not to injure a whale of separate mom from baby. They are magnificent creatures. There is cover so if it rains you can remain dry. Parking in the area can be limited at times so give yourself plenty of time. If you think you may get motion sickness, plan ahead with Dramamine or a more natural way, specialized wrist bands. There are beverages and snacks for sale. Be sure to bring a camera.

Went with one child, one parent, and two grandparents. We all had a wonderful time. The ride out into open waters was lovely and the boat’s naturalist gave a great overview of whales and what to expect. We then encountered three whales and several dolphins. It was awesome. Overall, It’s a little pricey but worth the cost. Note: you can bring your own food/snacks, just not your own beverages (but water bottles are allowed).

Amazing day out. The whales were waving, breaching, blow holing, and just hamming it up. Staff and naturalists were great. Boat was very clean and roomy. We had the additional treat of watching many kite surfer having fun on the way back to the dock. Many good restaurants within walking distance. I am a life long Brooklynite and never heard of this trip before. Who’d of thunk! Hidden gem.

We had a great time today on our Whale Watching Tour. We saw pods of Dolphin and 3 whales!! I've lived on Long Island my whole life and never knew these tours existed until a friend of mine went on one and I heard about it. I'm glad I went. We also had great weather 60*F in the day after election day. I packed two sandwiches for my husband and I. I did not use it, but they had a limited snack stand and it said "Cash Only." The boat had a little viewing port for little ones which I thought was cute. They sanitized everything. Staff was friendly and the naturalist on board was knowledgeable. I will def go again.

I wasn't expecting much, seeing as we so close to the city. But we spotted four humpback whales and dozens of dolphins. The cruise alone was worth the price. Very cool! Great for a date or for out-of-town friends and family!
