Stunned by the amazing scenery and variety of wildlife. In less than a day we saw impala, kudo, hippopotamus, crocodiles, warthogs, jackals, buffalo, elephants, giraffe and zebra. Amazing place and a tribute to Botswana's excellent record in conservation.

We had a day trip into this park. We saw elephants, baboons, monkeys, hippos. There were lots of snake trails, but we didn't see any snakes, which is probably a good thing. There weren't many people there, so it was nice and quiet.

Loved this national park and all the wildlife. So many elephants. Saw lions everyday. NatGeo filmed Savage Kindom here recently and it is a good indication of what types of animals you will see.

Savute is on the very unpredictable Savute dry river. The park is dry with vast grasslands. Herds of animals can be clearly seen. Is without a doubt what you expect Africa to look like.
